
The Children Watch Foundation (CWF) successfully organized the inauguration program titled “The Way to Women Empowerment: From Training to Production” under its Women’s Equity & Action initiative. The event was presided over by the Chairman of CWF, Shah Israt Azmery who highlighted the organization’s ongoing efforts to empower underprivileged women through skill development and livelihood support.
During the event, Ms. Afroza Akter, Managing Partner of Arha Handicrafts, made a generous contribution by donating several sewing machines to support the production phase of the training participants, marking a significant step toward sustainable income generation for women trainees.
Ms. Hoshne Ara Rafeza, Secretary of the Bostibashi Odhikar Surokha Committee, delivered an inspiring speech emphasizing women’s rights, social inclusion, and the importance of skill-based empowerment for slum-dwelling women.
The program was attended by over 30 participants, including women beneficiaries, community representatives, and youth volunteers. The event concluded with an interactive discussion and a collective commitment to continue supporting women’s empowerment through practical training and production opportunities.
