CWF Hosts Fruit Festival for Children in Satkhira: A Celebration of Nutrition, Joy, and Togetherness

Children Watch Foundation (CWF) organised a vibrant Fruit Festival at its Pathsala centre in Satkhira, bringing smiles to the faces of 50–60 children from the local community. The event, held recently, aimed to promote healthy eating habits and provide an opportunity for underprivileged children to enjoy a variety of seasonal fruits in a joyful and inclusive setting. The children, many of whom are students of CWF Pathsala and come from marginalised backgrounds, gathered together for the celebration. Plates filled with colourful fruits like mangoes, bananas, pineapples, and lychees were served as the children sat in neat rows, sharing laughter and conversations. “The Fruit Festival was not just about food; it was about bringing children together, teaching them about nutrition, and giving them a moment of happiness,” said a CWF representative. “We believe that small acts like this can have a big impact on their physical and emotional well-being.”

The event created an atmosphere of togetherness as the children, dressed in cheerful attire, enjoyed the fruits and participated in light-hearted conversations with their peers and teachers. Some children even proudly posed with plates of fruit, their faces beaming with joy and gratitude. This initiative reflects CWF’s ongoing commitment to holistic child development, ensuring that every child not only learns and grows but also experiences moments of celebration, care, and community support. As the festival came to a close, the smiles on the children’s faces and their shared excitement stood as a reminder of the power of kindness and collective care in nurturing young lives.
