Urban Youth Climate Conference 2025, jointly organized by BARCIK, Children Watch Foundation (CWF), Work for a Better Bangladesh (WBB) Trust, and Institute of Wellbeing Bangladesh (IWB) was held on 13 September 2025 at the Vintage Convention Hall, Dhanmondi 27, Dhaka.
The one-day conference brought together more than a thousand young participants, climate activists, and community representatives to strengthen youth leadership for urban climate resilience. Through plenary discussions, exhibitions, and interactive sessions, the event emphasized the need for youth-driven innovation in addressing urban environmental challenges such as pollution, heat stress, waste management, and public health risks intensified by climate change.
The conference also highlighted inclusive climate action, promoting youth participation, gender equality, and sustainable urban transformation to align with the UN SDGs 11 and 13.
