Rakibul Islam Rabbi, a resident of Dakshin Satgharia village in Dohazari Union, Chandanaish Upazila, Chattogram, is an inspiring example of perseverance. Despite losing both hands in an accident, he has continued his education by writing with his feet.
The story of Rabbi’s life and his determination was shared by Abdul Jalil, Chairman of the Chandanaish Upazila Parishad. After learning about Rabbi’s challenges, Khoborer Kagoj Bandhujon and Children Watch Foundation (CWF) stepped forward to support him.
Rabbi, who successfully passed the 2024 SSC exams, received financial assistance from CWF. Shah Israt Azmeri, Chairperson of CWF, stated, “Our small support can play a significant role in Rabbi’s life. We want to stand beside him in his educational journey.”
At the same time, Atia Sultana, General Secretary of Bandhujon, commented, “Rabbi is an example for all of us. Learning about his struggle-filled life will inspire everyone.”
As part of this initiative, Rabbi was provided with educational materials and financial assistance for his college admission.
