In Sunamganj’s Tahirpur locality, the Children Watch Foundation (CWF) awarded scholarships to four students on Saturday, March 25, 2023. The distribution ceremony took place at the Upazila Press Club and was attended by notable individuals including Muhibbur Rahman, the principal of Tahirpur H.U. Alim Madrasah; Aminul Islam, the Joint General Secretary of Upazila Awami League; Mosharf Hossain, a teacher; and Babrul Hasan Bablu, the Vice President of Upazila Press Club. Among other attendees were Shaukat Hasan, a representative from Kalbela; Maniraj Shah; Shah Alam, a student guardian; and Shankar Chand, an NGO representative.
The recipients of these scholarships were Jannat Priya Iti, Iftekaruzzaman, and Rumena Akhtar from Class X, along with Ishrat Jahan Shefa from Class IX. This initiative not only acknowledges the academic achievements of these students but also serves as a testament to CWF’s commitment to supporting education in the Tahirpur community. Through such endeavors, CWF continues to empower young minds and foster a brighter future for students in Sunamganj.
