Shahin Ara Begum, a seasoned Development Consultant and Policy Analyst from Bangladesh boasts 23+ years of expertise in social protection, climate justice, child and human rights, gender issues, and policy analysis.

She holds dual Masters (Geography and Environment, Governance and Public Policy) from Dhaka University, with additional professional training in Public Policy Analysis and Strategic Management from BIGM. She completed a comprehensive Policy Analysis Course from Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore and published numerous articles in research-based journals and magazines. She is the Vice-Chairperson of Women Internet Governance Forum (WIGF) Bangladesh, and a life member of Dhaka University Alumni Association.
