20 flood-affected students received books in Tahirpur

In Sunamganj’s Tahirpur area, 20 students affected by floods received a helping hand on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2022, as the Children Watch Foundation (CWF) distributed books at Tahirpur Girls High School and College premises. The distribution event saw the participation of notable individuals including Mizanur Rahman, the Upazila Secondary Education Officer; Yahia Talukder, Principal of Tahirpur Girls High School and College; Aminul Islam, the Joint General Secretary of Upazila Awami League and President of Upzilla Press Club; Babrul Hasan Bablu, Vice President of Upzilla Press Club; Shawkat Hasan, Joint Secretary of Upzilla Press Club; Mosharf Hossain, an Exhibitor, and others.

This initiative was prompted by the unfortunate loss of books experienced by these 20 students during the previous flood. The swift action taken by the CWF upon learning of this situation highlights their dedication to supporting the community in times of need. By providing educational resources, the CWF aims to ensure that these students can continue their studies despite the challenges posed by natural disasters.
